The Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) training introduces learners to the principles of recovery and peer support as the catalyst for transforming individuals' lives.

This is a 16 hour (LGBTQ+) training for Certified Peer Specialists on supporting LGBTQ+ people. Learners will also gain knowledge and understanding of the unique experiences faced by LGBTQ+ people, including the dynamics present when people hold multiple marginalized identities and how compounding minority stress can impact their health outcomes.

This training is designed to educate peers on the impact of trauma across the lifespan and to support those they are working with to address trauma in an intentional and informed manner.

This training focuses on the concepts of goal planning, including defining the terms dream, goal, objective, action step and intervention, and clarifying the relationships between them.
Trauma-Informed De-Escalation
This training equips participants with an understanding of the cycle of escalation and with strategies for preventing escalation as well as defusing tension.
Understanding Depression & Anxiety
In this 3-hour training, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of depression and anxiety, their risk factors, most common signs and symptoms and how to provide support to someone who may be experiencing these.
