Stefanie F. Seldin is the President and CEO of the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Philadelphia (RTP), which she joined in November 2013. Founded in 1988, RTP provides free home repairs to income-limited homeowners to make homes safe for seniors, healthy for children and safe assets to pass onto the next generation. Prior to joining RTP, Stefanie was a public interest attorney working in housing preservation efforts, including creating and implementing the essential volunteer attorney component of Philadelphia’s nationally-recognized court diversion program for homeowners facing mortgage foreclosure. From 2000 to 2003, she developed and managed the legislative agenda for the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance in Boston. Prior to that, Stefanie was a child advocate attorney for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia. Stefanie also serves as President of the Board of the Pennsylvania Housing Alliance, a statewide coalition working to ensure that all Pennsylvanians have access to safe, decent and affordable homes. Stefanie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University Law Center.
