Reggie Connell
Chief Operating Officer
Reggie Connell is the Chief Operating Officer at Mental Health Partnerships (MHP). Among Reggie’s areas of responsibility are the management and execution of the agency’s operations to assist MHP in achieving its strategic goals. He provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that MHP has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems to strengthen and grow the organizations current and future recovery oriented programmatic operations.
Prior to joining MHP, Reggie served in senior leaderships positions at Community Behavioral Health, DBHIDS, and various community providers. He is considered a progressive and innovative leader in the healthcare industry with 20 years of experience in program management, service coordination, strategic planning, organizational development, and team building. His forward-thinking approach has earned him a reputation for navigating complex challenges with ease, while fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment at every level of the organization. He is skilled in building multilevel partnerships within the organization as well as in the community with all stakeholders. He takes pride in leading an organization where participants and staff members are reaching their potential and achieving successful outcomes.
As a Philadelphia native, Reggie is extremely passionate and connected to efforts aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of Philadelphia, specifically those who are underserved and with the greatest needs. Academically, Reggie has a Bachelor’s degree from Cheyney University and dual Master’s degrees in Social Services and Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research.
