Hope on the Horizon: Partnering for Transformation
A Note From Leadership
Dear Friends of Mental Health Partnerships,
If we had to sum up the past year in a single word it would be COLLABORATION. We are stronger when we work together - it’s a mantra that’s true for the people we serve, and it’s also true for our organization.
Our Impact Report will demonstrate the many ways we collaborated to advance our mission throughout 2024.
- We formed partnerships with community organizations like Broad Street Love to make more comprehensive services and warm referral sources available for participants.
- We established an Advocacy Committee to identify challenges in accessing quality mental health care and mobilize collective action.
- We expanded our programs to new sites, served significantly more clients, and began renovating our residential facility.
As we approach our 75th anniversary, we stay true to our roots as an advocacy organization amplifying the voice of people with mental health challenges. We know who we are, strive to carry out our work with excellence, and remain open to continue to learn and grow as we steadfastly champion the needs of those we serve.
We could not do this critical work without our cherished supporters, so thank you for partnering with us and ensuring that those in recovery are never alone on their journey. Because of you, they have the advocacy, expertise, and caring, person-centered support of Mental Health Partnerships’ dedicated peer-driven community of caring providers.

I have to care for myself before I can start caring for other people. Coming here [MHP] is the best. I don't have to ask the staff if they care for me because I can see it. I can see it.
Shawn
Participant

MHP didn’t just help me find support—they helped me find myself again. The community here reminded me that I’m not alone in my recovery.

Over the past year, PeerNet Bucks County has had the privilege to serve a diverse population in many ways. With over 100 participants in the program throughout that time, the team at PeerNet has supported participants with challenges surrounding housing, benefits, socialization, and so much more. Hosting groups and trips throughout the week, along with individual support, has allowed multiple participants to reach their goals.

My family and I have supported MHP for years as they stand on the front lines, helping economically disadvantaged people struggling with mental health issues. But we're more invested now than ever in MHP as they navigate the challenges created by new funding cuts.

Why We Give: A Conversation with Mark R. Nicoletti, Sr.
Mark R. Nicoletti, Sr. and his family have been steadfast supporters of MHP for many years. We recently sat down with Mark to hear what drives his commitment to our mission—and why he believes now is the time to invest even more deeply in mental health support.
What motivates you to support MHP?
My family and I have supported MHP for years as they stand on the front lines, helping economically disadvantaged people struggling with mental health issues. But we're more invested now than ever in MHP as they navigate the challenges created by new threats to funding.
What impact do you hope your gift makes?
We hope our gift can be leveraged to challenge others to give, not just to close funding gaps, but to expand MHP's reach in the communities they serve.
What is special about MHP?
Operating in Philadelphia (the poorest major city in the country) compounds all behavioral health providers’ abilities to manage funding cuts. But MHP's strong leadership, dedicated team and proven record for execution, sets them apart and is why I choose to give to MHP.
