Celebrating Women’s History Month

Celebrating Women's History Month, we shine a spotlight on the remarkable women making strides in mental health at Mental Health Partnerships. Among them are Dr. Racquel Assaye, Lydia, and Hannah, each contributing to a legacy of support and empowerment.

Dr. Racquel Assaye serves as the Acting President & Chief Executive Officer of Mental Health Partnerships, leading the charge in providing essential peer support, training, & advocacy to enhance the mental wellness of individuals within the community. With nearly three decades of experience in auditing, accounting, and non-profit leadership, Dr. Assaye brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for service to her role.

Lydia, a dedicated trainer at the institute@MHP, is empowering Pennsylvania residents to harness their lived experiences with mental health diagnoses as catalysts for helping others. Her passion for education and advocacy is evident in her commitment to equipping individuals with the tools they need to support themselves and their communities.

Meanwhile, Hannah is breaking barriers by bridging the gap between the Spanish-speaking community and mental health services. By offering certified peer specialist courses in Spanish, she is ensuring that language is not a barrier to accessing vital support and resources. Her efforts are instrumental in fostering inclusivity and expanding access to mental health care for all.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, it's important to recognize the profound impact of women throughout history who have dedicated themselves to helping others. At Mental Health Partnerships, we are privileged to have a diverse team of women who continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
